We Want to Hear from You!

For the Sonorous features two monthly columns called Cultures for Thought and Inspirational Women of Color. Cultures for Thought presents aspects of non-white cultures, such as food, fashion, holidays, and traditions, to promote cultural appreciation and prevent cultural appropriation through knowledge and discussion. In Inspirational Women of Color, we celebrate the achievements of remarkable women of color both in the past and present and express how they've impacted us. We want to hear about your cultures and who inspires you! If you are a girl or woman of color, email us at forthesonorous@gmail.com with the subject heading Blog Post: Cultures for Thought or Inspirational Women of Color and send us works to be featured on our blog. Works should be in .doc(x) forms and at least 200 words. We look forward to reading them!
